Gale G. Standen - Founder
Gale Standen, whose visionary approach to creating various other transformational programs for young addicts, is continuing her commitment to youth at risk as the founder of V3 TUCSON in Tucson, Arizona. V3 Tucson is a private residential community dedicated to the transformation of young adults at risk. Available to residents is a wide range of transformational programs addressing all areas of substance abuse treatment including alcohol abuse treatment and drug abuse treatment.
Her leading edge approach for young adults at risk is providing a yardstick for this addictive population to create a life of excellence far exceeding their hopes and dreams. Raising the bar according to the gifts that they have been given gives each the discovery of new possibilities, developing great opportunities. Gale is featured in an international film tribute, "The Last House on the Street" for her work in the field of alcoholism. Her own sobriety dates from 1978 and her commitment to others was almost simultaneous.Thoreau encourages us to "go confidently in the direction of our dreams". Gale believes this with all of her heart and boldly pushes us to "rise up as wings of eagles". We can feel the vigor of a job well done, we can be audacious in our daring, we can live a life of dignity and meaning...we can be all that we were meant to be. V3 TUCSON is an intimate forum for new beginnings. Its warmth and love bring us all to newness.

Ann brings to V3 Tucson not only her wealth of experience working with addiction recovery services but experience working in an educational setting with young adults. Her passion for teaching started at age eight when she recalls teaching housewives in her Illinois neighborhood how to make pies. The teaching profession and her love of the creative experience guided Ann to choose art education as her first career experience and landed a position in the public school system teaching art to high schooled aged students. Realizing after several years of teaching that she wanted to make a greater impact in the lives of young adults, she received a Master Degree in Counseling and pursued becoming a high school guidance counselor. Becoming a Marketing representative for private addiction services on a national level broadened her experience and knowledge in the treatment field and took a course through career over the past 10 years. On a personal level, Ann continues play a bigger game in life and lifts the bar of her excellence by participating in courses that embody leadership and growth. And what she brings to V3 Tucson is not only book learning but the wisdom that life experiences offers. She loves to lead others to lifting the excellence bar to their dreams.
